Ahh, sorry it took me a while to get back to you! I’ve been working on my cosplays for this weekend, eheheheh —

Anyway, first one that’s easier to answer: I made my icon here!

As for the boots: I got a used pair of gothic platform boots from ebay. The first thing I did was that I painted the heels, and then put modge-podge as a finisher.

For the weird belt-things that go around the boots, I got a pair of old belts, measured them around my ankle and my calf with the boots on, and cut then appropriately. The belt-things can come on and off the boot with velcro. For the half-circle things, they’re velcroed and hot-glued onto the belts!

I don’t have a lot of WIP shots when I made the belt things, but here’s a few:

I think…either Kyogre, Rayquaza, or that cool new one Xerneas. Kyogre because it was my first legendary and first pokemon I raised to 100, Rayquaza because the freaking effort I went to get that in sapphire, and Xerneas because HELLO I like deer.

Hm, that’s…a good question. I think that a small bit of me is still afraid of the dark. Doesn’t help that my basement is the epitome of “creepy dark basement” - you flick the lightswitch, but it’s like a dark, creepy alleyway light. Just one is on, barely enough. You go down the depths of the stairwell, and find yourself in the tiniest diameter of light - from then on, only darkness. And there’s a creepy HAL-like light that peers from one of the rooms I DONT LIKE MY BASEMENT AND I DONT LIKE DARKNESS I DONT EVEN GO DOWN THAT PLACE AFTER FOUR PM

Also losing people. I don’t like disconnecting with people I invested good amounts of time and energy in.

Cyanogen; If you choose to stay a certain age forever, what would it be?

Probably…somewhere between 19-21? 19 is when you enter college as a freshman, so you still know your high school friends, and you make new ones in college! 20 is a good age just cos it’s already 2 decades of your life, that’s some kind of milestone, right? and then 21 because out of school and hey drinking.

Oh heyyo! It’s funny you mention this, because the Homika/Roxie cosplay was actually my first real cosplay that I made!

Anyway, IDK which part of the cosplay you want me to answer, so I’ll try my best to address all parts of the cosplay as best I can!

»For the wig, I bought the Malinda model from Arda Wigs, and I had to cut and model it - I thought that it was a tad long though, so I asked another Homika cosplayer about wigs, and she bought this model from eBay- I might buying that one, or finding a similar one from Arda Wigs (because they’re koala tea). The hairtie beads were made from Model Magic.

»For the dress…huh, how do I explain the dress…? I kind of took one of my dresses as a model? I got some newspaper, traced my dress where the seams met, and made a pattern from it, modifying areas that I needed to modify (sleeves, the opening for hte neck, the zig-zag ends of the dress, etc.). I made the dress out of pink fabric first, and due to time constraints, I had this iron-on adhesive - used that to iron on the blue stripes. But if you have time, I HIGHLY recommend that you just sew the blue stripes onto the dress. The adhesive thing made the blue stripes really stiff and weird.

»The guitar was really easy IMO. I followed this tutorial from dART, and it really helps! The model itself is really light to carry and the like! I just used ModgePdoge instead of Bondo (cos…I didn’t know where to get Bondo). 

»Boots-wise, I just took an old pair of boots I had, painted the heels blue, and got leather from a local crafts store. For those white half-sphere things on the boots, I just used a styrofoam ball, put Mode Magic on it.

His eyes looked around frantically as the surrounding environment broke down before him. Everything was now so unfamiliar. The once busy streets were silently still, yet packed with abandoned cars. The only sounds coming nearby were the crackle of fire and the occasional explosion of machines and the creak-creak-creaking of broken gears. Buildings were burning in the background, crumbling to their demise, collapsing under unneeded pressure. An unsettling red tint had now taken over the sky. The faint screams and yells from others in the distance made this man so uncomfortable, oh so deeply uncomfortable.

How could something like this happen so soon and so fast?

Of course, within the pathways of his mind, he knew why this was happening. He knew why and how this unfamiliar land came to be. He knew why the atmosphere gave off a tense aura, and why the air was filled with concentrated hostility. If he only had the ability to turn back time, and prevent this all from happening, he would do it in a flash.

But in the end, he knew that either way, he wasn’t able to stop this wanweird - this terrible unhappy fate - from happening.
