Ahh, sorry it took me a while to get back to you! I’ve been working on my cosplays for this weekend, eheheheh —

Anyway, first one that’s easier to answer: I made my icon here!

As for the boots: I got a used pair of gothic platform boots from ebay. The first thing I did was that I painted the heels, and then put modge-podge as a finisher.

For the weird belt-things that go around the boots, I got a pair of old belts, measured them around my ankle and my calf with the boots on, and cut then appropriately. The belt-things can come on and off the boot with velcro. For the half-circle things, they’re velcroed and hot-glued onto the belts!

I don’t have a lot of WIP shots when I made the belt things, but here’s a few:

Aaahhh sorry I didn’t answer this earlier! But yeah - my clinical group and I actually had a meeting with the dean of the nursing department today.

Apparently, it was not just that one girl that I mentioned in that post, but it was three students that contributed to the craziness that ensued that Friday. The other five - which includes me - got off the hook, and the only thing we have to remediate is checking if we know how to assess for vital signs (which is literally the first thing you learn in nursing school).

It’s all bogus, but…I guess crazy stuff happens if no one tells anyone anything.
